Miško is a veteran software architect and open-source pioneer with deep expertise across the entire technology stack — from digital circuits and transistors to high-performance web and gaming platforms.

As Senior Technical Director at Roblox, he shapes the future of the interactive gaming platform, focusing on performance, developer experience, and scalable systems for millions of creators and players.

Previously, he served as Code Wrangler at Jane Street, where he contributed to the firm’s high-performance financial trading platform, and as Chief Technology Officer at Builder.io, leading the technology strategy behind one of the most innovative visual development and headless CMS platforms (including the creation of the Qwik framework).

Before that, Miško spent over a decade at Google, where he created AngularJS and Angular, co-created the Karma test runner, and drove major improvements in web testing culture and front-end architecture. His work has fundamentally shaped how millions of developers build modern web applications.

Miško began his career designing digital circuits, then moved through databases, full-stack development, and eventually into front-end frameworks. This broad foundation gives him a rare, end-to-end perspective on systems — from silicon to user experience. In addition to Google, he has held engineering and leadership roles at Adobe Systems and Sun Microsystems.

He holds a BS/MS in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
