Remigiusz Samborski has started his adventure with IT projects in Nokia Siemens Networks. During the
following years, he was expanding NetShock Creative agency, finally to become responsible for
coordination and management of projects portfolio as a Delivery Director at an international IT company
- SoftServe. He is a co-founder of Sambors.pl brand which unites project management enthusiasts.
He has almost 20 years of professional experience in the IT industry. Remigiusz holds multiple project
management and cloud certifications. Moreover he shares his passion and knowledge related to project
management and IT at Wroclaw Business University of Applied Sciences.
Currently he works as a Lead Developer Relations Engineer at a globally recognized company - Google.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn to use Large Language Models (LLMs) directly from Java. You will first start by familiarizing yourself with Gemini, Google's new multi-model LLM. Then, you will use Gemini running on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, in different use cases such as extracting data from unstructured text, document classification, searching in your own documents, and how to supplement the model by integrating calls to external APIs. The lab will use Java with LangChain4j. Come with your laptop.
