Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Ilya moved to the United States as a teenager and has since had 23 year tenure in the software industry, 15 of them at Google. Ilya has worked on several different Google products, with a focus on server-side development using Java. Ilya is currently a Staff Software Engineer, working on RCS Business Messaging, and he is excited to share details about this product and space with the developer audience.
